Founded in New York City during the digital explosion of the 1990’s, Carver Digital specialized in creative digital workflow development, providing the highest level of creative services within the fastest most flexible timeframe. Working from its four floor, 7,000 sq.ft. Fifth Avenue facility and offering integrated expertise in studio/location assignment photography and full in-house pre/post production, Carver Digital executed award winning brand development work for major ad agencies and campaigns for international corporate/editorial clients for nearly 15 years.
It contributed significantly to the emerging technologies by serving as in-field demo, Beta development and trade event representatives for Scitex, Leaf, Sony, Hasselblad and Nikon. Carver Digital wrote the technical manuals for Nikon’s (NikonCapture) professional digital camera software, numerous creative/technical articles for Popular Photography Magazine and taught imaging classes at ICP/NY and Panasonic’s USA National Academy.
Editorial and advertorial client projects included the photography and text for the book “Andretti at Indy (500)”, published by Simon & Schuster, a month-long exclusive-access tour with American Ballet Theater in Japan, a 3-year backstage commission for The Grateful Dead and videos for Vogue Magazine, Glamour Magazine, Cathay Pacific Airlines and New York City Opera.
